Days 61-90: Did It Work?
Time to answer the question you set up on Day Zero.
Check your numbers. What’s the metric now compared to your baseline? If you said “reduce client research from 6 hours/week to 3 hours/week” — where are you actually landing? Be honest. If the number moved, by how much? If it didn’t move, why not?
If yes, it worked: Pick the next workflow to improve. Run through SHAPE again for a different task. You’ve now got a working template for how to bring AI into your business — the second time is faster because you know the process.
If no, it didn’t work: That’s not failure — that’s data. Ask yourself: was it the wrong tool, the wrong task, or the wrong approach? Try a different angle on the same problem before moving on to a different problem entirely. Sometimes the workflow needs redesigning before AI can help with it.

Before you move on, ask:
- Did you maintain focus on the one workflow you started with, or did scope creep pull you in three directions?
- Are you ready to apply this approach to more of your work, or does it need more refinement?
- What new ideas came up during the 90 days that should wait for the next cycle?
For teams: Expand this phase into formal evaluation. Week 9-10: analyse pilot results, calculate ROI, identify next wave of users and use cases. Week 11-12: embed AI into standard processes, update onboarding, set ground rules for AI use, document AI slop prevention steps. Week 13: full results review, planning for the next 90-day cycle, budget and resource planning.
